What does "AI-qualified" actually mean? +
You write the criteria for a good lead in plain language. For every candidate we find on the map, we run a live web check and keep it only if it genuinely matches — the ones that don't are dropped and counted, so your list is a real shortlist, not raw scrape output.
Can I use my own Google and Gemini API keys? +
Yes — every paid tier has a BYOK variant. It costs less and comes with 5× the monthly lead and pitch quotas, because searches run on your own Google & Gemini keys. Keys are encrypted at rest and never shown again after you save them. You're responsible for your own Google/Gemini usage and their terms.
How do I get a Google Maps Platform API key? +
This key powers the map search (Places API). You'll need a Google account and a billing account — Google requires a card on file even inside the generous free tier.
- Open the Google Cloud Console and sign in.
- Create a project (or pick one) from the project dropdown at the top.
- Enable billing for that project: Billing → Link a billing account, adding a card if you don't have one.
- Open APIs & Services → Library, search for Places API (New) and click Enable. If you also want city autocomplete, enable Maps JavaScript API too.
- Go to APIs & Services → Credentials → Create credentials → API key.
- Copy the key (it starts with
AIza…). Recommended: click the key and, under API restrictions, limit it to the APIs you enabled.
- In LeadsBullseye, open Workspace settings (⚙️) and paste it into the Google Maps key field.
Google changes menu names, button labels, and page locations from time to time, so the exact wording and where things live may differ from these steps — look for the closest equivalent.
How do I get a Google Gemini API key? +
This key powers the AI qualification and pitch generation. The fastest path is Google AI Studio.
- Open Google AI Studio and sign in with your Google account.
- Click Get API key (then Create API key).
- Choose an existing Google Cloud project, or let it create one for you.
- Copy the generated key (it starts with
AIza…).
- In LeadsBullseye, open Workspace settings (⚙️) and paste it into the Gemini key field.
Google occasionally renames and relocates these controls, so the exact labels and layout may not match word for word — follow the nearest equivalent option.
Where does the data come from, and can I trust it? +
Business listings come from Google Maps and are verified with live search. Listing data can be inaccurate or out of date, so treat it as a starting point. You're responsible for how you contact leads — see our anti-spam reminder at export and the Terms.
Do I have to worry about anti-spam laws? +
You're responsible for your own outreach under CASL (Canada), CAN-SPAM and TCPA (US), and GDPR/ePrivacy (EU/UK) — having a lawful basis to contact, honouring opt-outs, and identifying yourself. We surface a reminder before every export.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. Pay monthly, or yearly with one month free; cancel from your workspace and you keep access until the end of the period. Start on Free with no card.
